Black beauty Kajol’s upcoming film ‘My Name Is Khan‘ is bringing her appreciations from one and all. Her comeback with actor Shahrukh Khan is delighting for the audiences.
In the industry, the trend was that the actresses used to bid goodbye to their acting career after they had tied knot but now this generation is more forward in their views. Marriage is no more end of career. Kajol just gave break to her career and is now backing with the bang to hit the screens.
We hope that the Shahrukh-Kajol pair again will be able to create the same magic as earlier seen in Baazigar, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum. We are desperately waiting for ‘My Name Is Khan’ which releases this January 2010.

Preity compliments Kajol

Earlier it was that two actors can be best friends, but there can never be bonding between two actresses. But bubbly Kajol has managed to be able for the praises from her rivals too. Now a days actress Preity Zinta is all praise for Kajol.
Kajol’s performance in `My Name Is Khan` has been complemented by Preity. She said that Kajol is outstanding in the film and it will be great movie. She also insisted that other than Kajol no other actress could have done the role better. She said, “Look at Kajol. She goes and gets married, has a kid. She disappears for three years and she comes back does something like `My Name Is Khan` and she is so good in the film. I can bet that none of the actresses can stand in front of her.”
Earlier Kajol has received compliments from her ‘Stepmom’ co star Kareena Kapoor who believed that Kajol is magic on screen. Kajol-Sharukh starrer `My Name is Khan` is set to release in February next year.

Cosmetic giant Oil of Olay has chosen unimpeachable and virtuous beauty Kajol Devgan as its brand ambassador. This came as another good news from FMCG market after the recent endorsement deals of Priyanka Chopra- Levis and Mugdha Godse- Mysore Sandal Soap.
The major reason for which she has been chosen is her eternal beauty and her untained image both on and off the screen. She is also saleable face for a list of brands which includes Anchor toothpaste, Yakult health drink, Whirlpool, Alpenliebe etc.
Awaited is her movie ‘My Name Is Khan’ with the actor Sharukh Khan. The movie is quite intense and Kajol is de-glam covered with sweaters and mufflers.
She’s all full hands with the bag full of endorsements and her upcoming flick.

Happy vibes between Kajol and Kareena

We all have known that the actresses Kajol and Kareena Kapoor have worked together but they have never been able to become friends. But the recent news is that now the duo is getting along like a house on fire!
They are sharing the screen space with the film ‘Stepmom‘ for which they been to Australia also. The film has actually changed the relationship between the two actresses. It was natural when they talked freely while on the sets, but now they are seen spending time chatting even after pack-up has been called. Sometimes they have their meals together too.
The person most happy with this bonding is the producer Karan Johar. Their off screen bonding has helped in better on-screen chemistry, and their mood on the sets has presented a more healthy environment.

Kajol is back

Actress Kajol has headed back to Mumbai after completion of her shooting in Australia. She was shooting for the film ‘Stepmom’ with co stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal.
Being one of the revered bollywood actresses she’s loved by her fans, as well directors and producers. This time she is missed by helmer Siddharth. He mentioned in his tweet “Kajol’s last day yesterday in Sydney…she’s such an amazing actor and person we will miss her and mickey !!!”
The shooting in first schedule was in Los Angeles that had started on October 9, second schedule had begun on November 15. Debutant Siddharth is all praise for his actors. In his tweet he mentioned that Kajol and Kareena are delight for the directors’ and Arjun has worked superb for the film.
She had completed her shooting for ‘My Name Is Khan’ with co star Shahrukh Khan before going to US for ‘Stepmom’. The film is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions for which Kajol had worked earlier in this year.

Lovely bubbly Kajol is on her return to Bollywood after shooting for ‘Stepmom’ in Australia. She has revealed her beauty secrets and shared the reasons for her flawless skin. But more than outer beauty it is the inner beauty and wisdom which the actress cares for more.
According to her wisdom matters more than anything else. She says that people get upset when they see the first grey strand or a line on their face, as that is considered sign of ageing. But it is wisdom that tells that one starts to age much before it shows on our face. Even our ageing can be controlled if we begin to care at the right time.
The brand in which she believes is Olay Total Effects. About the brand she says, “It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, soothes dry skin, evens and smoothens skin tone and texture, and minimizes the appearance of pores, while helping to protect the skin’s moisture barrier for a firmer skin.”

Kajol and SRK on Vogue

Vogue India Magazine’s October edition carried the photographs of the best on-screen couples- Kajol and Sharukh Khan. The two stars are working on the film ‘My Name is Khan’, a film by none other than Karan Johar.
Both of them together took out some time from their busy schedule for the photoshoot by Atul Kasbekar. The photographs are beyond the superficial beauty, but the celebs are exuding the inner charm.
The movie ‘My Name is Khan’ is a very different film. It’s quite intense and hence Kajol is de-glam here and not the same Karan Johar heroine. The film is set in the cold months of San Francisco, therefore her looks are frosty and nippy. She’s all covered with sweaters and mufflers.
Says Karan Johar about her, “I have been working with Kajol since 1993 so our comfort level is legendary!”

Promos releasing of Kajol’s flick

The promos of SRK – Kajol starrer ‘My Name Is Khan’ will be unveiled on December 18. This Karan Johar directed flick is opening globally along with James Cameron’s Avatar.
In the film Kajol is in the role of Mandira who is Hindu single mother. In the story she marries Rizwan Khan (Sharukh) who is suffering from Asperger syndrome. The film shows the couple’s difficult life in America and Rizwan’s journey to clear his name.
It is to be noted that Fox Star Studios India will distribute My Name Is Khan in India, while Fox Searchlight will distribute it in the U.S. and 20th Century Fox will do so in the rest of the world. Karan was keen to show its first look last Wednesday but that time promos were not ready.
We look forward to see Kajol in a few days.

Kajol has time for hobbies

Actress Kajol is currently in US shooting for Karan Johar production’s ‘Step Mom’, with co-stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. But this time media persons came to know that other than shooting, she also takes out time for her hobbies.
Kajol who is natural and spontaneous with her performances, but she is also quick with her takes therefore is able to gather lot of free time. Whenever the unit went into a frenzy readying the set for the next take, Kajol would unwind and catch up on her hobbies. She likes knitting woolies and sweaters. May be she is planning a sweater for producer and friend, Karan Johar while she’s at it.
Let us have a look at her upcoming films too. In her upcoming flicks are animated films ‘Toonpur Ka Superhero‘ and also we are eagerly awaiting her Sharukh Khan starrer ‘My Name Is Khan‘.

Among the many brands promoted by versatile actress Kajol- Anchor toothpaste, Yakult health drink, Whirlpool, Alpenliebe are a few names. Recently she has been chosen brand ambassador for Oil Of Olay. On this media persons had a brand talk with the actress.
Says Kajol, “Whenever I endorse a brand, I look into what it is all about, whether it is stable, reliable. I don’t know if I’ve fool-proofed it, but I do certainly look into these aspects.”
When asked that what she looks in a brand before deciding to promote it, she answered, “I look for reliability. It’s important that I know that the product I’m promoting is worth it. I won’t promote something I don’t believe in, or will harm someone or something in any way.”
Unlike other actresses, she is also comfortable playing a mother to 8-10-year-old kids in commercials. She says, “I always wanted kids. I wanted a baby ever since I was three or something. Kids are a natural part of life.”
