Ajay-Kajol together in a film

Rohit Shetty who has directed films like Golmaal, Golmaal Returns and recently released flick All The Best: Fun Begins is now planning to cast Ajay Devgan with wife Kajol together in a film.
Rohit Shetty said, “Ajay and Kajol have a very strong reputed husband-wife kind of image and with them it (the film) should be of that class and on that level. I have been looking for a script keeping them in mind and the day I get one, I’ll definitely make a film with both of them.”
Both Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgan are set to team up for the third instalment of Golmaal franchise and a sequel to All The Best:Fun Begins. So be ready for another laughter doze.

Kajol in ‘Three Idiots’

Kajol’s glimpse can now be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming movie ‘Three Idiots’ as she is doing a cameo for it. At the beginning, she was offered role in the movie but for some reasons she had turned it down, but she agreed for the cameo role.
We don’t have much news about her role but it is for sure an interesting and important role. After a long time she is appearing with Aamir Khan, as in ‘Fanaa‘ we had seen them together for the last time. The movie is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘Five Point Someone’ which is a story of three engineering students who face problems in their life. Since every movie of Rajkumar Hirani carries a message, may be Kajol will present that message. Earlier she has done cameo for Yash Raj Films, Dharma productions, Devgan productions.
As such Kajol is gearing up for the release of her movie ‘My Name Is Khan‘ in February 2010. For the movie she is acting alongside Sharukh Khan.

Kajol’s movie in Valentine week

Kajol and Sharukh Khan starrer ‘My Name is Khan’ is set to release in Valentine’s Day romantic weekend on February 12, 2010. This movie by Karan Johar is a love story which depicts man-woman relationship in a more profound way.
Talking about the movie, Karan Johar says, “At its core, the film is an epic love story between two people who have a unique way of seeing the world.”
Kajol is in the role of Mandira who is Hindu single mother. In the story she marries Rizwan Khan (Sharukh) who is suffering from Asperger syndrome. The film shows the couple’s difficult life in America and Rizwan’s journey to clear his name.
According to some past news, at the first instance Kajol had rejected the offer. Then Karan Johar offered it to Kareena Kapoor. But Karan kept on wooing Kajol too and finally she had agreed. This was sad on part of Kareena but these days it has become a common practice in B-town.

Although actress Kareena is not so comfortable in front of versatile actress Kajol but they both are enjoying each other’s company these days. Kajol with other cast and crew of the Dharma productions will soon head for Australia for the shooting of remake of the Hollywood film ‘Stepmom’.
Kajol is magic on screen believes Kareena Kapoor and has always been all praises for Kajol. According to report Kajol is trying hard to work out her dates in such a fashion that she can get her daughter Nysa to spend a few days at her shooting schedule in Australia.
Incidentally Kajol’s hubby star Ajay Devgn does steps in role of a perfect dad when Kajol is not around.

Kajol-flying to Australia

Kajol with other cast and crew of the Dharma productions will soon head for Australia for the shooting of remake of the Hollywood film ‘Stepmom’. The movie is Siddharth Malhotra’s first directorial venture. The other stars in the lead role are Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal.
The film is inspired by director Chris Columbus’ 1998 hit drama ‘Stepmom’ which is tale of two women. In the original drama Susan Sarandon played the role of ex-wife and Julia Roberts was the fiancée. In the remake Kajol will play the role which was played by Susan Sarandon.
The producer Karan Johar is zestful of its shooting in Australia and says, “We are excited to showcase the very best that Australia has to offer and we hope to bring back some of the infectious spirit and charm that has become synonymous with Australia and Australians.”

With the shooting of upcoming release ‘London Dreams’ the three stars Kajol, her hubby Ajay Devgan and ‘Ghajini’ fame Asin has become good friends.

According to sources, “Kajol met Asin on the sets of London Dreams too. The two got along well.” They had first met during the shoot of ‘Ghajini‘. “The two happened to be shooting in the same studio. Asin was shooting for Ghajini, while Kajol was shooting for ‘Toonpur Ka Superhero’. Asin went up to Kajol when she got to know she was in the same vicinity. The two have known each other since then.”
Also with Kajol’s husband Ajay, Asin is very comfortable. They had a ball shooting too for this movie. Ajay always pull Asin’s leg and sometimes Asin would play pranks on Ajay. “One day two challenged each other on tongue twisters. Ajay challenged Asin to speak Hindi tongue twister at one go, While Asin would challenge Ajay to English tongue twisters.” Finally Asin won the game.

The versatile bollywood actress Kajol Devgan is well established in the bollywood industry and has got many a personal and professional link ups. She got married to star Ajay Devgan, her sister Tanisha Mukherjee has also stepped in the B-Town and her best friend is star of stars Sharukh Khan. They all like her and love her but there are some other dimensions too.

We take up her sister Tanisha Mukherjee who is also trying her luck in the industry. Although Kajol has done few movies but most of her movies has been a big hit. So looking at her sister, Tanisha also had stepped in bollywood. She is lagging far behind if the comparision is being made with her sister Kajol and mother Tanuja. Also she belongs to a family who’s in the industry from 1940s.
Achieving success not so far plus the constant comparision with the sister and her mother distresses her at times. We hope that Kajol and her sister share an eternal relationship of bonding unaffected by their professional lives.

Bollywood actress Kajol would be an evergreen actress who has been on the top list of the B-Town actresses. Well, Kareena Kapoor, who had more hopes on eclipsing her, has failed to do so. It was more revealing at their juncture of performing rehearsals for upcoming film, which is the Hindi remake of ‘Stepmom’.

Kareena says, “Rehearsing for films is an excellent experience and last time it was Omkara under the insistence of Vishal Bharadwaj.” According to the sources Kajol would accomplish with her takes while Kareena’s act goes in contrast. Kajol will be soon hit the silver screen with Shahrukh Khan in their much awaited film My Name Is Khan.

My Name Is Khan that starrsss Shahrukh Khan and Kajol has been creating waves all across the world! The Hindi film fraternity will get to see one of its hottest pairs to set the screen on fire after 7 years.
This hot couple have already given Bollywood some of its greatest blockbusters like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. They were last seen in Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham which was released back in 2002.
Well, Karan Johar’s ‘My Name is Khan‘ just wrapped its final shooting days on October 1st. Director Karan Johar recently stated that this team of My Name Is Khan was the best team he’s ever worked and furthermore, he will definitely miss each and every person.

Hot, witty or clever, movie posters are the heartbeat of a film’s promotion. We look at some of the good ones doing the rounds these days.

Only this time there’s none of the style and spectacle associated with previous Karan Johar block busters. His new film, titled, My Name is Khan is a serious drama set in post 9/11 US and deals with the issues of ethnic discrimination.
The film is about the delicate relationship between a man suffering from a mild form of autism, and his wife also. Apart from the legendary SRK-Kajol jodi that is the highlight of the film, it should be interesting to watch the actor in a challenging, new avatar. This poster definitely reflects all that the film is about.
